No, in fact it is not dead, but it has been changed into a more generic and more complete xterm/aterm launcher. With this new script, I can launch either xterm or aterm, and can choose to launch it at "normal" 80x25 size or "full-screen" (big size, fills my entire screen, but leaves space for dockapps at right). I didn't wrote this script, but instead I modified it to work better (main modification was make it less verbose).
